ABOUT ME
I've dabbled in writing a very long time. My fourth grade teacher, Miss Monner, gave me stacks of empty notebooks that I filled with stories about horses. Only horses. In junior high school I wrote goofy personal essays on subjects such as: "If hamsters ruled the world" and "Why I should have been an only child" (I am the youngest of five). Then I discovered boys and stopped writing for several years. Not the best move on my part. Years later, when I stayed at home with my three young children, I began writing scripts for film and TV, and even won a few screenwriting awards. I soon switched to fiction, and I've fallen in love with writing books for teens.
Check out my first blog post where I reveal a bit more about myself.
